Entranced by visual mediums, Vishal spent most of his childhood immersed in drawing and painting. He won numerous awards for his art and was accepted to the prestigious Sir. J. J. Institute of Applied Art, where he trained with some of the finest artists in India. During his time there, Vishal won the State Government Bronze Medal, the John Walter Thompson Award, the Ogilvy and Mather Award and the Communication Arts Guild Bronze Award.
